Peabody have announced their next consultation on the Women’s Building.

It will be from 14.00 to 19.30, on Thursday March 5th, at the former prison’s visitors centre (on Parkhurst Road, opposite the Exxan garage/Islington Arts Factory).

We want a landmark institution; an inter-disciplinary hub of facilities and services; accessible, inclusive and welcoming; a beacon for what’s possible if we aim high.

CPFH’s Women’s Building working group includes a broad range of local residents and women’s support services, who have been discussing what is needed. Here is the vision document drawn up by this group. It’s in ongoing development and we would welcome your thoughts. We hope this informs your ideas about the possibilities for what the Women’s Building could be.
