Come to our public meeting on Friday 2nd March to discuss the future of the Holloway prison site, where we’ll be joined by local MP Jeremy Corbyn. We’ll be at St George’s Church on Crayford Road in Tufnell park between 7pm and 8.30pm.
Over 900 people and organisations responded to the Community Plan for Holloway survey in 2017. We’ll be presenting the most popular ideas at this event, followed by a few short introductions from representatives of local community organisations.
There will be lots of time for everyone to discuss what they would like to see happen to the site, as well as how to make sure what the community wants is heard loud and clear when planning decisions are made.
Speakers include:
- Jeremy Corbyn, Islington North MP
- Niki Gibbs, Reclaim Holloway
- Alexandra Lilley, Islington Churches
- Glyn Robbins, Islington Unite Housing and Axe the Housing Act
The event is open to everyone who is concerned about what happens to the former prison site.
